Code of Conduct

    Note: This should not be interpreted as a legal document. It’s a statement of intent and a guideline for collaboration.

   The ScalaUA participants community is made up of a diverse set of individuals. Disagreement is no excuse for poor behavior.  Many visitors coming to ScalaUA conference might have different background than others. Treat each other with respect in all interactions.

   Respect time and attention of all participants.  Let’s keep our signal-to-noise ratio high and try to maximize the usefulness of content in exchange of ideas.  Please, do not use too much advertising.

    ScalaUA conference provides a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion (or lack thereof). We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form.

All communication should be appropriate for a technical audience, including people of many different backgrounds. Sexual language, innuendo, and imagery are not suitable for any conference venue, including talks.

  Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave without a refund at the sole discretion of the organizers.
